Clearly epic spring conditions across the European Alps last weekend. 200km plus flights, and flights of 5 hrs plus from multiple locations.
My favorite was this flight from Michael von Watcher. (Google Earth Flight Log) A fabulous 7hr, 189km tour from Chamonix to beyond Annercy and back, with a couple of heart stopping low saves, huge valley crossings, but finally an evening cruise in hugely bouyant evening conditions under Mt Blanc, high over the glaciers. Must have been an unbelievable way to end the flight. Makes me want to abandon life in the USA and move back to Europe.
