Climbed straight from launch up to 10500ft - a 6000ft climb with max climb of 7m/s.
I was well behind the main XC group of who Tavis Gustavson, Jonathan Deich (on a hang glider), Alex Gagarin, Paul Oddou and Ross Detweiller eventually got all the way to Kagel in a 5 hr flight.
Jai Pal and myself made the first big transition, but missed the convergence line and landed by the 15 freeway after about 20km.
