Leaving in two days for a week back to this world class flying site.
This was a photo from my 2004 trip to Piedrahita on the last flight of the week - floating dreamily above the valley at 8pm with the sun setting, on course to land at the 'Long Bar' for a cold cervasa
Goals for this trip this time: over the pass to Avila (would be new personal best, Avila is about the 60km mark) My previous best here in Piedrahita was on my first trip there - over the pass to the 25km mark on my old DHV1 glider.
