Cold and wet in the morning and cold and damp on launch. The Race pilots started but the task was cancelled nine minutes after the start as their first turnpoint was in the rain. An hour after we got back down to headquarters there was a short but dramatic thunderstorm.
My final result was 18th in the Rat Race Sprint, which I was hugely pleased with given that this was my first competition.
